Replying to this thread everyday until an appointment/rejection

Hi everyone— my status has changed from pending to CPR for USNA But I have not been requested to send my transcript.. I am a bit concerned. Can someone tell me if this means I am not considered for a full appointment to USNA? Thanks!!

CPR can mean two things-but I expect it will be a positive outcome! Most people who get TWE's usually just see the turned down after it changes from pending. I haven't seen it change to CPR first but im not sure.
 
Hello Day 63! Nothing to report here other than I think DS got turned down for NROTC-MO. It’s weird - the portal changed today with next years applications opening. The new portal says not selected for a scholarship but under that it says at Marine Board for selection. But pretty sure it’s a TWE equivalent. Oh well!

Still pending for USNA with a DQ so that’s looking pretty bleak also. But we’ll stay in it till the end with our focus on a great future at USMMA!

Hoping for good news 🗞️ for you guys! In the meantime, I’ll be waiting in the USMMA acceptance thread to congratulate 🎉 your DS if that’s the final decision 😉.

Hang in there Mom. This time around, the more I learned about USMMA, the more interesting it looked. Not to DS, but to me. It looks like an awesome place with a bazillion opportunities ahead. Hope it works out the way your DS wants, but KP ain't no joke. The idea of commissioning into 1 of multiple branches plus the civilian opportunies look incredible. Good luck!

Thank you!! Yes I totally agree!! I think he feels like USNA is a better fit for him academically but he’s totally thrilled with USMMA (as am I!!).
