DD has LOA and has completed her file way back and received nominations in December just got her appointment yesterday. It's coming.

My son got his principal nom back in the middle of December and he just found out of an appointment 2 days ago. It must take some time for them to go through all the slates. If you are a principal nom and 3Q.. your appointment should be coming. Waiting is really hard

Hi everyone. I read through previous threads that the first wave of nominations happens around mid to late January. Does anyone know if this is the case? Thanks in advance

“Wave” of offers of appointments from the Academies is a variable. It can be dependent on each Academy, their Admissions staff, procedures, etc. In my experience some Academies were faster than others. Unfortunately for nominees and parents, it can be a wait&see game. It incredibly important an applicant follow a parallel course of applying for a nomination and an Academy. When a MOC submits their nominations, the nominee should have their Academy file complete. Start early. Follow instructions. Don’t procrastinate. And, unfortunately, have a backup plan in case an offer does not come.
