The waiting continues. My DS is in waitlist for Class 2028. I just want to start the thread for all the waitlisters! Good luck to all!
Don't blame you there. I feel for my DD it was better to get the no this morning then to wait longer on a list when there's only so much time. If kids have a good Plan B then at least you know. DD classmate was accepted to WP but a no from NA and will decline due to full ROTC scholarship offer at Ohio State. At some point have to move on and everyone do what's best for their senior and your family. Mentally can start to get to them.Mine got a prep waitlist offer which she will decline.
Still waiting....My DS would happily take her spot! Best wishes as you move forward.Mine got a prep waitlist offer which she will decline.
He got an email with a waitlist offer. What does it mean to be waitlisted? Does his portal say waitlisted? Or did he get an email?
He certainly has very good options.Son is waitlisted.
He is still awaiting USNA, but has NROTC, ROTC, & AFROTC awarded.
He has been assigned to NROTC NSI Block 2. Now playing the financial aid reevaluation game with 4 Ivy’s since he’s bringing the scholarship and they have to recalculate any award.
I had that same question. Hopefully they address it tonight on the call.DD is waitlisted also. Fingers crossed she gets a spot still. She is joining the waitlist but moving forward with Plan B.
Does anyone know if they go ahead and submit your waiver request for DODMERB so theoretically you can jump right in if a spot opens? (She was already granted waivers from her ROTC scholarships already.)
Thanks!
What is the call tonight? We're still waiting here....I had that same question. Hopefully they address it tonight on the call.
I get that! She has an AF prep offer which she has accepted and I'm hoping that's the plan moving forward in the event she gets something from USNA. Constand curveballs in this process ha!Don't blame you there. I feel for my DD it was better to get the no this morning then to wait longer on a list when there's only so much time. Same situation here.My DS received a waitlist offer, but he has a USAFA appointment. I'm not sure if he will stay on the waitlist or not.
