Congrats and good luck to her!My daughter accepted too! Congrats all.
No problem, I almost missed the email myself since I expected it on Sunday, it went straight to my spam folder. Thanks for posting, otherwise we would have been waiting until Sunday. My DS notified me that he was accepted to AIM. Session selection is open Monday May 13 at 9pm EST and closes Friday May 17. Yesterday he was notified that he was moved to Candidate status for USAFA (didn't receive an invite for Summer Seminar). He will be attending 1st session of Summer Seminar at USNA. He's most interested in USAFA (we visited last summer) so it's a a great opportunity for him to explore 2 other service academies.
Congrats for your son and good luck!Us too! My DS is very excited!
congrats, see you there!Congratulations! I was accepted as well, so I hope to see you there. God bless America!
congrats and good luck to him!DS got his today as well, congrats to all!
Sorry to clarify. An LOA in the admission list of acronyms stand for Letter of Assurance. This type of letter is only given to encourage highly qualified candidates in the early stage of the application process to finish their application and the Academy had reserved a spot for them if all else qualified (PFE and Medical). AIM is an opportunity for you to experience being a Cadet and for you to decide whether to apply. I believe it is totally transparent from Admission. However, it is known that rare candidates do get LOA in late August and early September.Congrats, my DS got accepted as well.

In all other worlds LOA does mean letter of acceptance We learned when my son got a LOA from USMMA it meant letter of assurance and it greatly helps with the application process, especially with getting a congressional nom. My son ended up taking his appointment to USCGA. We are still learning all the acronymsGot it, my bad, I've only ever seen LOA mean letter of acceptance.
I'll have to give the acronym list another once-over.
