Hopeful USMA Class of 2028 : a place to play the waiting game together.

Final selection from WL may be made few days before the class enters.. hopefully May 01 is the end but it can be until end of June, more waiting and praying 🙏

Kinda have some big news, my FFR got back to me with some info. I am 3Q + NWL like most of yall and he said I am "on the bubble of an appointment." He confirmed my thoughts that we are waiting on declinations from already-appointed candidates. He said that since I (and all of us) haven't received QNS (qualified not selected) that he still has a good amount of faith. The catch is, he said it will probably 2 to 3 more weeks before any news comes. So bye bye May 1st, I think the wait continues for maybe the last 8 or so of us that are 3Q + NWL still. :oops::oops::oops:

YIKES< that is what I was afraid was going on. I mean it's amazing that we are all still in the game but....

Thanks for sharing that update. It helps us adjust our expectations. I have a feeling we're paying the deposit on Plan B after the track meet tonight!

If most of us here that are 3q nwl could have a possbility of being notified only a handful of days before r day, how/is that enough time to get together all your documents needed to go? That would seem like a HUGE rush haha

Yeah, that makes me wonder too. There are records checks and medical appointments, plus getting everything we need to get. Simple things like breaking in boots. I guess if we get in we'll have to make do.

Agree - hang in there and keep the faith everyone! You’ve made it this far…and there is a reason why you are still in the fight…make sure Plan B is locked and loaded and that will take a lot of the pressure off the waiting game…
 
My DS is in this final waiting group 3Q/NWL (painful!). We have an international trip planned in June but am seeing some indication that international trips might be an issue. Does anyone know anything about this and can point me to any information?
