Remember that the officer/enlisted leadership at a unit will rotate at least once in your 4 years in a unit. Possibly even twice depending on rotations. This is part of military life.
Sure, you could pay it back. Be prepared for sticker shock for full freight on some of these prep schools. I would be prepared for alot of questions and a no.
They are careful about this. Class of 98 had the Dixie cup duct taped to the top. They had to prop a person on top of Herndon. He then used the anchor he took off a Mid cover to cut the tape and also used his teeth. He also happened to be a SEAL which only added to his legend. The lard does a...
There are lots of old threads on here. Recommend you taking a look. As mentioned by another poster, be prepared to discuss what you want to do besides JAG. You are not going to get Ed delay for Navy option to be an JAG. Understand the Navy options to become a lawyer while on active duty, there...
Whenever I would go to Bahrain they would always say, ‘There is a dome over here. Allah cannot see.’ Always made me chuckle. Watching the border crossings was always amazing. Cross into Bahrain, everyone stops takes off their traditional clothing, women jump into the driver’s seat. Then the...
The amount of new Dads that appeared on graduation day with infants and even some
Toddlers was always amazing. Usually we knew of them. I actually dated a guy as a Firstie who had one! My class had a female grad who was a year ahead of us and left to have her child, then came back and rolled to...
We have debated those stats in this forum. I do not foresee USNA moving from 26% to 40% in in class. Remove NAPS and Foundation and your reapplicant number is much lower. USNA has not changed their NAPS or Foundation class size for this admissions cycle.
The NAPS wait list has only been around a few years, maybe 3 total. So not alot of data to pull from. In fact the data above is nice, but there are so many variables it doesn’t tell much.
This is never released outside of admissions. Never had been and doubt it will be. I know that can frustrating. That list could also change as candidates decline the WL or accept other SAs or options. Also as USNA rounds out a class and nom options, that list can mold and morph.
I am not aware of anyone in the modern day who has done this. One service is paying for you. In fact they are investing in someone at prep even more than a direct entry appointee. SAs sort of have an unwritten agreement to not poach.
I think this is to be seen. I think in some of the very highly competitive districts it could lead to a few more appointments from the top 150. In the top 5 districts the stats on those slates are pretty crazy. It could lead to a few more appointments from the national pool. Overall, I really...
