According to the self-updating list, someone came of WL on 5/6.
There was a thread on this a few weeks back. I mentioned in that thread, I would not take that as gospel. They have no pure/solid facts or intell on the class of 28. No one does other than USNA admissions. That YouTube Channel is run by a for-profit consulting business. They are guessing and posting for views, to drum up business ($400 - $8000 consultating fees) I suspect. I suspect there is a certain level of 'click-bait' involved as well.Interesting listen about how the class of 2028 potentially will have a make-up of 40% re-applicants, up from 26-30%:

This data goes pretty far back. For those highschool applicants, this data goes back to when you were 5
As of writing this post, we are currently at the lowest count in the last 6 years. Of course this could just be a standard deviation in stats, but after seeing what happened on April 15th, I wouldn't be surprised if they're still running a little behind.
Much respect and condolences to user murfthesurf , who compiled the Classes 2016-2020 in a previous post I found.
The NAPS wait list has only been around a few years, maybe 3 total. So not alot of data to pull from. In fact the data above is nice, but there are so many variables it doesn’t tell much.Thank you.
Do you know of any stats on the NAPS waitlist?
Thank you. I am hopeful that my DS will be appointed to the NAPS Class of 2025 and then we can add him to next year's USNA 2029 thread. The NAPS wait list has only been around a few years, maybe 3 total. holy the data does go back, i was 4 in 2010...This data goes pretty far back. For those highschool applicants, this data goes back to when you were 5
Every appointment list ever made on the SAF for the Naval Academy... I thinkholy the data does go back, i was 4 in 2010...
For more accurate results, you should probably subtract a handful from these years due to people putting in their NAPS appointments late in the cycleUSNA Class of 2025 174 Appointments, the last updated entry was on June 10th, 2021.
USNA Class of 2026 164 Appointments, the last updated entry was on May 25th, 2022

I would assume those NAPS listings are folks from NAPS that received an appt to USNA, not folks going to NAPS. Especially with them being in May, since they dont find out they made it until school year is over. For more accurate results, you should probably subtract a handful from these years due to people putting in their NAPS appointments late in the cycle
Leaning hard into the speculating part of this thread...I wouldn't be surprised if they're still running a little behind.
Do you think it's movement for the USNA & NAPS waitlisted?Leaning hard into the speculating part of this thread...
I did similar research and I think WL movement should start sometime this week. Keep in mind there might not be any movement, but if there is I think it starts this week. Keep your fingers crossed
The waiting is so difficult and stressful. Fingers crossed for you but make sure Plan B is lined up and if re-applying, make sure your DS gets good grades and does some things demonstrating leadership. Leadership can be hard to get while a freshman in college, but there are opportunities. This is my first post. I've been reading a lot of the different threads. My DS was added to the waitlist for the academy on April 15. I've learned waiting is not for the faint-of-heart! What a journey it has been. We know that he will end up where he needs to be, either the NA or a year of college as he tries again. I appreciate the feeling of not being alone in this. Wishing everyone the best as we all wait together.
Thank you, I've been reading through the re-applying thread, so much info. He definitely has Plan B in place and is moving forward with it, but his heart is USNA! Also, if you have to go Plan B, it's a good reminder to look at the appointments and see the large numbers of re-applicants who make up each class.
The NAPS waitlist doesn't have enough years of data to make a guess.Do you think it's movement for the USNA & NAPS waitlisted?
Welcome to the group. Best of luck. My DS is in the same boat. Really set on USNA and will re-apply if not pulled from the WL. Based on last years thread we should see some movement soon.Thank you, I've been reading through the re-applying thread, so much info. It's gonna be a long week! LOL!Welcome to the group. Best of luck. My DS is in the same boat. Really set on USNA and will re-apply if not pulled from the WL. Based on last years thread we should see some movement soon.
Wow. Sort of dishearteningInteresting listen about how the class of 2028 potentially will have a make-up of 40% re-applicants, up from 26-30%:
