Tic Toc- time is running out!

Good morning all! My DS has still not heard either way for the acceptance or denial of WP. He of course has many plan B opportunities. What are your thoughts on Norwich University and/or Indian River in FL( accepted to both) He chose these two because he is a 1 m and 3 m board diver and wants military experience as he waits to enter or reapplication to WP. Also, is this common, the waiting (this long) for anything official yet?

I have no experience with those schools. I have Heard Norwich is good but know nothing more than that. All I can say as a college 'reapplicant' is that ROTC is an important thign that helped me get in along with building a good relationship with my cadre (instructors) I had recieved a service connected nomination which really helped and I took advantage of trying to join clubs and volunteer to help gain entry.

I know I chime in whenever Norwich is mentioned and it is only because so many on here encouraged my DS to try it and it’s been a great year for him and his rook buddies. We didn’t know much about the school before asking here and visiting, but it’s been an amazing year of challenge and growth for our son. If you have specific questions let me know. I can ask him to help. He’s looking forward to returning so we’re all very happy!

Oh, wow! - Great Thanks! We are deciding between the two(Norwich and Indian River-) Hoping for the best choice.
