One of our many but most memorable crowds - women’s rugby team had over-celebrated at Heroes pub. Sponsor daughter called and asked for emergency accommodations and vehicle support, as most were going to leave cars there. DH ferried several, I broke out every pillow and blanket. We had sleeping rugby players everywhere. I got up early the next morning for a carrier group deployment-sized log run for bagels, cream cheese selection, milk, juice, etc.DS usually brings home a decent crowd for this break and Thanksgiving and I am always amazed at how much they can eat. We are glad to have them and going to miss it when it passes. He knows to never leave anyone behind at Bancroft.
In the morning, set out bagels, cream cheese, jams, peanut butter, several pans of baked bacon, a massive bowl of fresh fruit - and Sam’s Club size ibuprofen and acetaminophen. There were groaning bodies everywhere. The boxers were happy dogs as they visited blanketed mounds.
