Hello. I was wondering, does getting a few semester grade Bs in my freshman year of high school greatly impact my application to USAFA?

My DS was a Covid freshmen and had to take on line classes that year. Our school has never had computers until then and it was a learning curve for everyone. He received three Bs that year and none since. He has taken challenging classes the entire time and it didn’t hurt his acceptance. He finished his application beginning of August and received an LOA this year to USAFA but a TWE to USNA. The academies look at the WCS and who you are competing against in your slate.
Just focus on getting excellent grades from now on and taking challenging courses.
