Hello All,
Quick introduction about me. I'm a Mama of an SA 2028 applicant. My DS has completed all SA applications with noms (USMA, USAFA and USNA). Now the clock starts for waiting, praying and hoping :).

I find the posts here to be very informative and very thankful to all those who replied to my inquiries. I am grateful to find this forum as my DS is the first to apply to SAs in both sides of the family.

More blessings to all especially the staff members.❤️

NB. Plan B is already in place as my DS was already awarded with AFROTC Type 1 HSSP.

Best,
HopefulMama1218

Same here. I find all the posts here so helpful but they also make me anxious sometimes. My DS has also completed applications with noms for these same academies as your son. He is currently under waiver review for all the academies and we feel so helpless since there is nothing we can do till we hear from them. Still waiting to hear about his AFROTC and NROTC scholarships.

FWIW, reading appointment list threads here make me feel anxious too! 15 April feels like centuries away 😂

Welcome to the group!

Welcome new anxious members. Hang in there!! And to be honest anxiety continues regardless of the outcome. If they get in, doesn’t get easier. If they go another route you will worry as any parent does. Pretty much forever in my opinion!

Thank you! There are a lot of comforting information as well in this forum. Regardless of the outcome, I am proud of my DS for making this far. Yes, agree that anxiety is infinite with our DS/DD as we love them so much as parents.
