Major and commisioning

anyone want to weight in on importance of major on how you are commissioned? I have heard engineering is better for flight, but ME or EE?

As an aerospace engineer I tend to be more biased towards mechanical than electrical engineering as a major if you want to be a pilot, but it probably matters more how well you do than which flavor of engineering you majored in.
