FAFSA Update — Correction Feature Available Later This Week

Word on FAFSA is that they will begin allowing corrections on the 11th or 12th, meaning you can take care of any errors in your form and/or add schools starting then. Good news for DS, who needs to add several additional schools that he had not applied to when form was originally filed in January.

FYI: This info comes third hand, via a student who shared an email from Purdue University. So, take it with a grain of salt.

Hopeful here! He’s still going to USMMA but it bugs me that his FAFSA is incorrect. I hope he doesn’t get sent home but there is always that chance ….

"Corrections" LOL. We still can't even log in to complete the thing. Tech support? non-existent.

UPDATE: As of this morning, the FAFSA form is open for corrections!

Was able to add DS's additional schools and resubmit. Website says updated form should be process in 1-3 days.

UPDATE: DS's corrected FAFSA was processed. It is finished!

Now, just have to wait for all the schools to get the report so we can get aid packages...
