Changing Eye Exam provider?

My assigned eye exam provider scheduled my exam for November, which is really late and they wouldn't give me another option. There's another ophthalmologist nearby and I was wondering if I can request a provider change to that so I can get an earlier eye exam, or would they reject it since the one they gave me is still accessible by travel?

I don't think it would hurt to ask to change it. Worst they can say is no.

Ask the people who can give you a definitive answer: the primary source. Some here may know the answer. Some may think they know. But you won’t know the difference. So again: go to the primary source. There’s too much at stake to do otherwise.

exactly, we made an appointment that was squeezed in because we would like to have it done right after medical exam.
