Apparently Med School through USUHS is available to CG Officers now (not cadets)

This may be old news, but recently learned that CG JO's in the ranks of O1-O3 may apply to USUHS and attend medical school. This isn't available to cadets.

I have no interest in being a physician, but maybe this is helpful information to someone out there. https://content.govdelivery.com/accounts/USDHSCG/bulletins/347ff9b
Sam, one of your classmates from 2013 and a former prep student of mine did something similar. After her initial O-3 tour she got picked up for and completed a Physician's Assistant program. I lost track on if she's still active duty, but there's another path if someone is interested in a career in health care.

Oh I'm probably familiar with that person...but this is for an MD. Much more interesting. I guess it's only limited to PCP though for residency. I have a few classmates who went onto med school with their GI Bills. More freedom to choose your residency that way...
