No, I was originally a USMMA prep so I am supposed to go to USMMA and the only other school I applied for just because was West Point. I’m gonna see how I like it there but if I don’t I’ll seek other options.

I’m hoping it is, my only issue with it is that it’s maritime based and I’m not sure how the curriculum is when it comes to the military. Granted I haven’t been there yet, but it’s in the back of my mind. I’m just looking for any insight just as a backup in case I don’t enjoy the curriculum there.

That's what I was kind of thinking but I am not sure. It says that they are still looking to appoint more cadets until May 1st. Not sure if they completed my region yet either since they are just starting to appoint kids with MOC noms.

I just received a letter on my portal telling me I am on the NWL. Not sure if it is a bad or good thing I get that notification this late in the game.

I also reapplied as early as I could because I wanted to at least get my portal opened early because in a way (I assume) maybe they could see how passionate I was to reapply again. It's only because they have not reviewed your file yet. Once they get to it, it will be check marked as green and by then they would have made a decision on you at that point. It's just a waiting game now, but as long as everything else is in and green you're good.

There are only 2 AOG scholars here. New Mexico Military Institute.

Both the AOG recipients at my JMC received their appointments last week and were notified by their congressman. One from upstate NY near buffalo and the other from Orange County California.

They are low, 1150 SAT and ACT I never retook. I assume that might be the case too. It's too late now to retest and I already retested last semester and that was the highest I was able to score so.

I did it via my college registrar who sent it electronically and my portal says all my high school transcripts are in and my first semester of college.

I will do that but when my FFR interviewed me, I asked him a few questions about my application and asked if they received my transcripts and he said yes. And then earlier this week I asked him about my academic status and he had told me “UNRESOLVED”. So it’s a little unclear to me what it might be.

I cannot pay the tuition for the college I am at, but as a sponsored prep my school will pay the majority of the tuition while USAFA pays for a little. I'd also like to still go to an academy but I want to try again to at least get into the one I prefer. If not, then I plan to go to USAFA.
