A junior friend of mine got this email. I’ve never heard of anything like this. Is this a good sign or just an outreach thing? Seems similar to a CVW but West Point only seems to invite you on a visit if they want you…

“We've identified you as a promising applicant and want to extend you a special invitation. You're invited to join us for an Admissions Tour of West Point from August 26th to 30th during the Army's Branch Week. Branch Week showcases the Army career options open to West Point graduates:


Aviation, Engineers, Infantry, Cyber, and many more. You'll also go to class with a West Point Cadet and eat lunch with them in our historic dinning hall.


Branch Week tours are only available from August 26th to 30th. Sign up here by selecting a tour on one of those dates. If you can't make it to West Point during Branch Week, check out the other available dates for our summer and spring tours.

Seems like something they would send, but I would call them directly to ensure. According to the 2024-2025 schedule, branch week is from 26-30 August. If you call and it's legit, I recommend it.

The email has a link that takes you right to your portal and you can only register through the candidate portal. The dates of 26-30 are the dates they make available. Also received a confirmation email.
