Astronautical Engineering is (I believe) the hardest major at USAFA and heard it’s like single digits that graduate with that major every year. My honest opinion is if he double majors in that AND physics it’s a death sentence.

Does major have anything to do with ENJJPT selection OR simply a pilot slot overall. I find it hard to believe that a cadet majoring in something like Aerospace Engineering isn't looked differently at than a cadet who majored in Management.

I recommend just take the exams and not trying to prepare for the “type of questions” it is simply to see if you should be in a lower or higher class. I wouldn’t try to get the best possible score trying to learn what is on the exam first and study for it and then get placed in a class too high.

It all comes down to what YOU want. You say that USAFA has been your dream since elementary school and USAFAPS is a golden ticket. If you 100% want to be a pilot I would recommend USAFA. If not AFROTC is a great route.

Yes, I went to church in town every weekend and occasionally they had liberty weekends where you can leave the campus with a family member. You can't just walk off campus and come back whenever you want (obviously).

NWP grad here. Great program ran by great people. A majority of the falcons attend NWP.

I know USAFA gets the most pilot slots of all officer programs. But it depends what you want to define something as a "less desirable role".

I just finished NWP this fall as a free agent (off scholarship) and I got my USAFA appointment. Great program.
