I am interested in Texas A&M as well as Marine Corps PLC. Are PLC students required to participate in the Corps of Cadets. If so, is there an individual battalion at Texas A&M specifically for PLC, or do they participate with a ROTC detachment.

I also posted this in OCS/OTS/PLC.

One great thing about PLC is no commitments other than regular PT with the OSO and your own personal discipline to work out at the level needed to get close to or hit a 300 PFT. Impressing the OSO with your performance and behavior are the most critical items to focus on.

Thanks! I am not that active on here, so I don't know all the tricks.

Most of the PLC Contracts (if not all) do come from the Corps at Texas A&M. They PT together every Tuesday and Thursday. But you do not need to be in the Corps to do PLC. The Corps and PLC go hand in hand though.
