Just starting to help my daughter in this journey so I am quite green here and was hoping someone would have answers. She attends a very small rural high school that is not large enough for a JROTC but has a NNDCC which she participates in. Is she able to secure a nomination the same as if it was a full fledge JROTC? She is a rising sophomore so still very early.

I assume you mean a nomination from NNDCC. In fact, I'm not sure (but I bet others will add details), but I imagine the unit leaders will know so your daughter should make that inquiry. None of the JROTC/ROTC forms that I have in hand mention the program. However, I encourage you daughter to participate in the program as it will provide the similar leadership opportunities found in JROTC. A number of my students have earned JROTC and ROTC nominations, but they also apply and earn nominations from their MoC's too.
