Also a yuk, also gonna be a beast squad leader. I heard that the New Cadets (and the rest of the corps) should be getting new OCP TA-50, but nothing has been confirmed. All the Sandhurst teams for the spring comp got new OCP gear to keep. The closest thing to an orchestra is probably the strings orchestra or spirit band, there's no super big music group, that is the West Point Band's job. No AIAD pays you, as far as I know. They might cover travel and food and lodging, but not a check just for working. For packing I'd say just to bring everything on the packing list, maybe a better camo paint, some baby wipes for field showers, and your own underwear/socks. Actually, definitely your own underwear/socks, and a lot of your own. I didn't use any of the issued ones and I'm glad I didn't. Break in some boots before R-Day also, you don't want to use the issued boots during beast.
