Mids in the USNA Class of 2024 are short timers. Single-digit-midgets in terms of days until graduation and commissioning. Their I-day was delayed one week. Under the veil of COVID, the class was inducted over a four-day period that started on June 29th 2020. They have persevered and will be rewarded for enduring the grind.
June 29th 2020 to May 24th 2024 represents:
1426 days or
3 years 10 months 26 days or
46 months, 26 days or
34,224 hours or 2,053,440 minutes
Time dragged and now time flies.
To USNA 2024: Savor these remaining days with your classmates. The view of your days in the Yard will only get sweeter with time. Savor it too with family, sponsors and special friends. Stay close to your family. They will be proud of you as newly commissioned office in either our great Navy or Marine Corps. Let them know what happening as your career unfolds.
