My DD heard back the same day confirming the email was received.

Accepting scholarship, spot on the swim team, and paid housing deposit. If my DD gets pulled from the waitlist we will simply be out the deposit. She has explained to her plan B school that she would still accept an appointment if it were to happen.

DD was waitlisted so she will be contacting her Plan B school today to accept a her scholarship and make her deposit. She would definitely take a spot if offered in May but time to prepare to move on and most likely reapply next Spring.

This is just an extreme personal opinion. I live in Annapolis near USNA. I know many students there and they have not been the happiest the past few years. The midshipman we sponsor regrets not choosing the USAFA.

Thank you! I have been telling her not to give up prep if that's what ends up being offered. She still is waiting for a decision. She basically lives in the pool and has since she was six and I just think she is stressing out thinking there is nothing else. It's hard to get these teenagers to...

Those who have kids that were EA to RA and are athletes. What happens if they are offered prep school? My DD does not want to give up a year of her sport and I'm afraid she would rather go to Plan B school which is D2 and the coach really wants her.

It's hard; my DD was moved from EA to RA. At this point she has been in constant contact with her Plan B swim coach. She has told herself she is not getting into the CGA. I'm still hoping for a last minute call with good news but it's so much stress on these kids.

My DD is still waiting. She has her plan B picked out and she told that coach who really wants her that she'll have a final decision by the first week of April.

My DD was rolled from EA to RA and got the DodMETS email back in October and did the exam a week later. I would definitely keep calling the AO.

My DD is in the same boat. We were really hoping to cancel the college tour weekend we are doing in North Carolina so we could save some money. But since we haven't heard anything we'll be taking to trip to see two more schools that she already got accepted to but wants to meet the swim coaches...

Is there a sport you would be playing? In my daughter's case the coach has been keeping a line of communication open and keeping her updated as well as the AO.
