Thanks to both of you for this info. DS definitely isn’t wait-listed. Evidently, I didn’t pay enough attention last year to this portion of the appointment cycle!

I don’t know how this process works but you may want to double check with ALO or MOC.

ALO has been very helpful and has simply told DS to continue checking his portal. DS also emailed his admissions team last week but received no response.

My daughter's portal was complete from November to now. We didn't hear anything until yesterday! That was only because I checked her portal and saw the envelope saying "your decision is ready" once we opened that we saw the prep school appointment, this happened around 2:30 yesterday, then I got an email saying your decision is ready around 7pm as well:
 
Is there a way to find out where we are on the waitlist?

My DD will be taking ASVAB on Monday to join AF reserves. She is determined to serve - AF is her dream.
 
I would say keep the hope everyone! I had a friend last year who was going to come to Marion Military Institute with me and got into the class of 2027 three weeks before I-Day. It is possible- being on the waiting list is a good sign!

Also, did your portal update anything ?
 
How long does the portal generally take to update? I was notified of an appointment Thursday and my Congressman said 24-48 hours but it's been silence since then.
 
I am in the same exact boat. Notified on Thursday, 48 hour notice, but no update in portal.
 
Our DS finally got his Letter of Appointment this morning posted in his portal! (Direct Appt. off the waitlist)
He has 4 Days to accept or decline.
However, thank the stars that our ALO has been truly amazing to us from our district. He knew last week it was coming so we have been relieved and still holding our breath until we had the Appt. In hand.
